Overview

Austin Community College uses multiple systems to manage service requests. For example, many general Facilities & Building Services requests are handled in MicroMain, not TeamDynamix.

This guide helps ensure requests reach the correct team without delay.

When to use MicroMain

MicroMain is the primary work order system used by Building Services, including:

  • Carpentry

  • Painting including external and internal areas

  • Pest control

  • General building maintenance including doors, elevators, windows, furniture, chairs, microwaves, refrigerators, etc

  • Grounds maintenance including fences, irrigation systems, and parking lots

  • Plumbing and drains

  • HVAC

  • Electrical and lighting

  • Roofing

  • Signage

  • Other custodial, facilities repair, and maintenance needs

If you need one of the above services, use MicroMain. Do not submit facility requests through TeamDynamix.

 

When to Use TeamDynamix

TeamDynamix is ACC’s service management platform for IT and various administrative departments. The Buildings & Facilities category in TeamDynamix includes services for departments that use TeamDynamix to manage their work. Refer to the service descriptions within our catalog to see what types of requests you can submit.
