Qwickly Course Tools - Check Links

Summary

This article outlines how to scan for and repair broken links across multiple Blackboard Ultra courses using Qwickly Course Tools.

Identify and fix broken links in all of your courses. 

  1. From your Blackboard Ultra Navigation page, click Tools from the menu pane and select Qwickly Course Tools. Left Navigation Panel: The active menu item "Tools" is highlighted in purple and pointed to by a red arrow. Main Content Area: A red box and arrow surround the "Qwickly Course Tools" card in the main grid. Other Visible Tools: Additional unselected tiles include "Application Authorization", "EAC Visual Data", "Goal Performance", and "Goals".
  1. Under Course Tools, scroll down and select Check Links.Highlighted Callout: A red box outlines the "Check Links" menu item located under the "Update" section near the bottom of the left navigation panel. Left Navigation Sidebar: Displays the full "Course Tools" menu hierarchy: Create: Assignment, Content, Event Manage: Groups, Needs Grading Send: Announcement, Email Update: Change Dates, Check Links (highlighted), Course Availability Main Content Panel: Features a central tools graphic accompanied by instructional text reading: "Select a tool in the lefthand menu to manage your course communication and content."
  2. (A) Select the course(s) you’d like to check the links in the left-hand course list.  If the course has links, they will populate in the space on the right. (B) A red circle will indicate broken links (if any) with an “x” inside. Click the pencil icon on the right side of the broken link to edit it. Callout A (Course Selection Panel): Left panel listing available courses with checkboxes, where "Advanced Legal Research and Writing" is selected.
