Computer Replacement

  • IT replaces computers:

    • At 5 years of age, or

    • For break/fix with a comparable or newer model

  • Old or damaged computers must be returned to IT.

  • Surplusing computers requires IT approval via Hardware Service Request.

Peripheral Replacement

  • IT does not provide routine peripheral replacements for staff.

  • IT does replace peripherals in classrooms and labs for wear and tear or break/fix.

  • To replace peripherals with department funds, submit a Hardware Service Request.
