Quickly Course Tools - Set Course Availability

How to Set Course Availability using Qwickly Course Tools

Notify all students of important information including assignments, class cancellations, or schedule updates.

  1. From your Blackboard Ultra Navigation page, click Tools from the menu pane and select Qwickly Course Tools.Left Navigation Panel: The active menu item "Tools" is highlighted in purple and pointed to by a red arrow.  Main Content Area: A red box and arrow surround the "Qwickly Course Tools" card in the main grid.  Other Visible Tools: Additional unselected tiles include "Application Authorization", "EAC Visual Data", "Goal Performance", and "Goals".
  2. Select Course Availability from the Course Tools list.Highlighted Callout: A red box outlines the "Course Availability" menu item located at the bottom of the left navigation panel under the "Update" section.  Left Navigation Sidebar: Displays the full "Course Tools" menu hierarchy:  Create: Assignment, Content, Event  Manage: Groups, Needs Grading  Send: Announcement, Email  Update: Change Dates, Check Links, Course Availability (highlighted)  Main Content Panel: Displays a central tools icon with instructional text that reads: "Select a tool in the lefthand menu to manage your course communication and content."
  3. (A) Use the search options to locate specific courses. Click the toggles to make courses available (A) or unavailable to students (B).Callout A (Search & Filter Bar): Contains a search field with "basic" entered and filter view options for "All", "Available", and "Unavailable".  Callout B (Available Toggle): Highlights a blue toggle switch set to the ON (available) position next to the course "Basic Illustration".  Callout C (Unavailable Toggle): Highlights a gray toggle switch set to the OFF (unavailable) position next to the course "Basic Extemporaneous Compounding (Non- Sterile)".  Instruction Text: Header text instructs: "Use the toggles below to set courses or organizations available or unavailable to students or participants..."
