Overview
This article will help ACC Faculty and Staff to create a Microsoft account using their ACC e-mail and access/download Microsoft Office 365.
Create a Microsoft Account
These steps will help you create a Microsoft account. If you already have a Microsoft account, please go Log in to Microsoft Account.
1. Go to the Office 365 Education account page.
2. Input your ACC employee email address and click Next.
- Note: You may or may not need to complete a verification check to see if you are human.
3. Click "I am a teacher". Do this even if you are staff.
4. Fill in the information to create an account and click Next.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Country or Region
- Create password
- Confirm password
- Verification Code
Note: Check your ACC e-mail for the verification code. It will look like this
5. Click "Get Started"
Note: Clicking "Get started" will log you in to your newly created Microsoft account. To continue, go to section: Access or Download Microsoft 365.
Log in to Microsoft Account
These steps are for if you already have a Microsoft account.
1. Go to the https://www.microsoft365.com/ page.
2. Click on "Sign In" in top right hand corner.
3. Input your ACC e-mail address and Microsoft password.
Note: If you are presented with the page to choose a "Work or school account" or a "Personal account" choose"Work or school account".

Access or Download Microsoft 365
These steps are used when you are already logged in to Microsoft 365 website.
1. Click on "Apps". It is the bottom left hand side of the page.
2. You can access any of the Office 365 apps by clicking on the tile icons.
Note: If you do not see the app you are looking for, click "All apps".
3. To Download Microsoft 365 apps, click Install apps.
