How to Set ACC EID Password for First-Time Users

When a new Okta account is created for you, you’ll receive an automated email from Okta with instructions to claim your account. Follow the steps below to finish setting up your account.

Instructions

1. Open the "Set Your ACC EID/Okta Password" Email

  • Look for an email in your personal email inbox from Okta <noreply@okta.com> with the subject line "Set Your ACC EID/Okta Password."

  • Open the message and click the "Create Password" button. 

2. Set Your Password

  • You'll be redirected to a page asking you to create your password.

  • Enter your new password according to the password requirements, and confirm it by typing the new password again under "Re-enter password".
  • Click "Reset Password."
  • You have now set your ACC EID password.
