Overview

Workday lets you search for employees by department or organization using the Organization Directory. This feature can be useful when you need to find employees who belong to a specific department, supervisory organization, or organizational unit.

 

How to search by Organization

1. Navigate to https://infohub.austincc.edu/workday/

2. Click on Login to Workday.

3. You will be prompted to authenticate using your ACCeID and password through Okta.

Note: If you do not know your ACCeID or password, select the appropriate account recovery option from the list for assistance.

4. After you sign in successfully, the Workday Home page will open.

5. Select Organization from the navigation menu on the left.

6. From the Organization menu, select Directory.

7. On the Directory page, locate the View section and select Organization Directory.

8. A Directory by Organization window will appear.

9. Select the Organization field.

10. Select the appropriate organization from the search results.

Example: You can search for an organization such as Academic Advising & Student Planning

11. Before running the search, you can select either of the following options: 

          a. Include Subordinate Organizations – Select this option if you want the results to include employees belonging to organizations underneath

             the selected organization.

          b. Include Managers – Select this option if you want managers included in the results.

12. After selecting the organization and any desired options, click OK

13. Workday will display the employees associated with the selected organization.

14. You can scroll down or move between pages to locate the employee you need.

15. Once you find the employee, click on Name to see their contact information.

What if the Employee directory information is incorrect?

If your information or another employee's information in the ACC Employee Directory is incorrect or outdated, submit a request to the Human Resources (HR) team. You can do that by submitting a Ticket in TeamDynamix.
